1940’s Navy Suit
Label: one label says Custom Original Utah Tailoring Mills Ogden especially for Meta Barnes and the other says Anglo’s Fabrics, Quality and Style.
Fabric: 100% wool
Fantastic custom made 1940’s suit. The jacket is quilted down the front and around the collar and has two small quilted pockets at the waist. The quilted fabric has a shine to it. The front fastens with two snaps. The jacket has small shoulder pads, a nipped in waist, and dolman sleeves. The jacket is fully lined. It looks absolutely amazing on!
The skirt has a pencil shape, two darts in front at the waist, and a back kick pleat. It zips up the side with a metal zipper and has one cloth covered button. The skirt is lined up to 22” down, and the last 5” of the skirt are not lined.
Condition: excellent other than a tiny hole in the skirt 9 1/2” from the bottom in the center front.
Best fits a modern size s/small; see measurements for best fit
