1940’s dress with a beautiful drape and an interesting look in the front and the back. The shoulders are smocked and there is a scalloped peplum at the waist. The sleeves are also scalloped. The scalloped peplum continues around the back with a bustle sewn on one side and with a snap on the other. The dress zips up the back with a metal zipper and The skirt is has a beautiful drape and flow.
Condition: excellent other than fading to one shoulder, a tiny repair to the other shoulder and the peplum, and a couple of smocking stitches are missing
