Antique Jacket

Grey antique jacket that could also be worn as a top. It is unbelievable that all of the glass buttons are still here. The black buttons have a trio of studs surrounding a faceted bead center. The shoulders are gathered for the perfect pouf. The elbow area of the sleeve is gathered. The jacket is boned and fully lined, including the sleeves. The center front and back come to a gentle point and the back is slightly ruffled at the bottom. The back vent is weighted for a nice fit. This jacket is so well constructed, see photo.
Condition: this jacket is at least 100 years old, so there are a few flaws, there are scattered moth holes at the cuffs, a tiny moth hole on the right shoulder, and a couple of small repair spots, there are also a couple of spots near the last three buttons where the fabric is torn (we tried to show pictures of the flaws), the sleeve lining is shredded (needs to be replaced), there is a very faint spot near the 8th button down (see close up photos). Our price reflects these flaws.
The fabric is strong and this jacket is very wearable.
