40’s Nightgown

Label:  Artemis, 32 Regular

Fabric:  Acetate and Nylon (sort of like seersucker)

Sweet pale (shimmery) blue textured fabric nightgown/dress that has a sheer embroidered neckline, band at waist, and around the puffed sleeve.   The bodice has lots of gathers for a flattering fit.  There is an attached blue ribbon that ties in back and a v-neckline in back.  

Condition:  Great with a small tear of the sheer embroidered piece under the left arm and a tiny spot on the front bodice (see photos)

Best fits a modern size small/medium; see measurements for best fit.
