This smock dress is from the early 1900’s. It was most likely a nightgown, but makes a great summer dress. The dress has one button at the neckline and then a placket that is accented by scalloped embroidery that runs around. This same scalloping also accents the sleeve cuffs. There are tiny gathers at the neckline in front and back and a V seam that runs from under the arm to the bottom of the dress. This dress has a special detail; the initials S N right under the front placket.
This looks great as worn by Gabby by just adding cowboy boots, you could also belt the dress!
