Tammy Heet and Kay Miller teamed up in 2019 to start their vintage business, Assassin Vintage. They met in the early 2000’s working at Anthropologie. They discovered they had the same work ethic, and both had a love of interesting fashion styles.

Kay owned a vintage shop in the late 90’s, and after closing in 2007, she moved the stock to her basement. She sold at markets from time to time, with Tammy occasionally helping. In December 2018, they began talking about going into business together and brainstormed names for a vintage shop. Tammy liked the name “Killer Vintage”, but it wasn’t available. She and Kay started throwing out other words for killer and Tammy said “assassin,” which Kay immediately loved, and Assassin Vintage was born. The business officially began selling on Etsy in April 2019 and then at the Hill Antique Market in 2020.
