1980’s Nina Ricci Haute Boutique Evening Gown

1980’s pink & black structural column dress with a double row of rhinestone buttons on the front.  The dress has black accents at the two front pockets and around the bow and neckline.  The black bow at the front is backed in pink and the pink bow in the back is backed in black, giving them a dimensional look.  The dress zips up the back with a metal zipper and has a hook and eye closure.  There is a 15” back slit.  The dress is fully lined in pink.

Garfinckel’s was a shop located in downtown Washington DC and was known for outfitting First Ladies, visiting queens, and DC elite.  They imported designer collections from Paris for their 3rd floor couture salon.

Nina Ricci was founded in Paris in 1932 and became known for their feminine and beautifully crafted garments.
