1970’s Bright Floral Print Dress W/Jacket

1960’s vintage dress with matching jacket in a colorful floral print.  The colors are neon pinks, orange, greens, blue, red, and white.  The flowers are different styles and sizes.  There is an attached belt that fastens in back with two hook and eye closures and has a bow in front.    The dress has two hidden pockets and down the front and back is an inverted pleat that runs the full length of the skirt.  The dress fastens up the back with a metal zipper and a hook and eye closure.  The front neckline has a set of three boning strips to help it lay nicely.  The dress is fully lined.

The cropped jacket fastens in front at the neckline with one hood & eye closure.  It is fully lined and feels quilted.  

The label is Florence Lustiq.  Florence Lustig was a well known couturier from the 1940s to the 1960s.  Her showroom was located in New York City, in addition to owning upscale boutiques in Palm Beach and Miami.  Lustig also designed wardrobe for several movies of the times.

Condition:  Great, with a few flaws; there are a few threads in the jacket that are loose, there is a faint brown spot on the front of the jacket (see close up photo), there are also a few scattered brown spots on the dress.  The dress has been dry cleaned and we spot cleaned one of the brown spots, but it did not come out.  This dress is so colorful and the print is busy so the spots aren’t really noticeable when worn.

Model’s measurements:  bust 33”, waist 30”, hips 40”, and 5’9” tall.
