1920’s Carved Celluloid Compact w/Lipstick

1920’s celluloid compact case with lipstick.  This case has a raised floral motif with a man sitting cross legged holding an urn over his head.  The case has an attached gold cord.  There is a tassel hanging from the bottom of the bag disguising a silver lipstick tube.  On the inside is a mirror with an open space behind and opposite this are two small compartments that open.  The back of the case has a design etched into it which you can see in the photo.

The case measures 18” long from top to bottom.  The case is 3 1/4” x 2 1/2” and the tassel measures 4” long.  The lipstick tube is  2” long.
