Early 40’s Tilt Hat

Stylish early 1940’s vintage hat.  The hat is taupe with scalloped faded peach raffia and rust colored netting.  The taupe part of the hat looks like a linen material.  There is peach grosgrain ribbon around the inside and a brown grosgrain ribbon that allows the hat to tilt.  The label says adjustable head size.

The hat measures 16 1/2” around the inside.  The hat perches on the head, it isn’t pulled down onto the head.  The brim is 3 1/2” at the widest point and the top is 2 3/4” at its tallest.

Condition:  very good, with some wear showing on the inside of the hat
