1940’s Gabardine Coat

Vintage 1940’s gabardine jacket with a large confetti button closure.  This coat isn’t perfect, but the style, movement, and color are amazing.  Looks like a coat a femme fatale would wear in a film noir movie.  The coat is a lovely sienna color with accenting top stitching around the collar, cuffs, pockets, and shoulders.  It has large shoulder pads for that 40’s silhouette and a rounded dagger collar.  The coat is fully lined.  The coat has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear.

Condition:  this coat is not perfect, the lining is starting to shred under the arms and at the collar, there are a few repairs and there are a couple spots that wouldn’t come out, but all of this does not detract from the beauty and wearability of this coat, when worn they aren’t noticeable
