Ruffled Lace Slip Dress

Lush 1940’s ivory nightgown/slip dress with ruffled neckline and gathered bodice.  The shoulder straps are sheer mesh ruffles with a strip of rayon.  The neckline has three rows of mesh ruffles in the front that continues in back with one row of ruffles.  There is an attached belt that ties in back.  The gown is cut on the bias.  The label says Fashioned by Chevette in “BUR-MIL” Rayon Fabric, size 34.  The fabric feels soft and slinky.

Condition:  very good with some dimpling/wrinkling of the fabric of the lower portion of the gown, a faint spot on the upper front right of the skirt and a dot stain on the shoulder strap (see close up photos)
