Straw Beach Hat

Quirky straw beach hat from the 1960’s.  The hat is decorated with a raffia like material that starts at the top of the hat and cascades down in tiers of different colors.  Around the brim is more of the raffia in a floral pattern in pinks, purples, and yellows, some of them have a pine cone like decoration in their center, others have ones that are partially missing.  There is silver twined threading in tiers doing down the brim.  You’ll definitely attract attention at the beach or pool wearing this hat!

The label says made in Japan.

The hat measures 21 1/2” around the inside.  The brim is 3 1/4” wide and the hat is 5 3/4” tall.

Condition:  Great, the only flaw noted is that some of the raffia flowers don’t have intact centers (See last photo)
