Amazing patchwork maxi skirt with a bell and ceramic maker’s mark attached at the waist.  The skirt  has lots of textures including lace, quilting, and velvet with a diamond pattern.  There are stripes of orange, purple, and green plaid.  The inside hem is gorgeous in an oatmeal and light plum design and the inside lining is an amazing patchwork look floral print with lace trim.   This is a well constructed skirt.  The skirt has a matching belt.

The designer of this skirt is Chessa Davis.  She got her start after making herself a patchwork skirt to wear to a party.  Six people at the party asked her to make them a skirt, launching her career.  Her skirts were based off of old peddler skirts and often had a mix of cotton, lace, gauze and velvet.  She called her skirts romantic, feminine, and comfortable.  She said her skirts, “make a woman look and feel young.”

This skirt has that Free People, older Anthropologie look.  Great attention to details!
