1980’s Valentino Boutique Houndstooth Print Suit

1980’s Valentino Boutique skirt suit inspired by the 1940’s.  The jacket has a black & white houndstooth print on the front and solid dark charcoal colored back and sleeve.  There are so many lovely details including a belt that ties, a small peplum, and partial lining.  The jacket fastens with 5 larger black buttons and there is a snap below the last button and the 3rd button.  The fabric is a heavy, quality wool.

The skirt has a v-shaped panel at the waist that goes into a front button placket.  There are box pleats on each side of the button placket.  The skirt has two hidden front pockets and zips up the back and has three hook and eye closures.  The back of the skirt is fully lined.
