Victorian Polka Dot Top

Unique antique top with great detailing.  The blouse is cotton with a mesh overlay.  The overlay has brown thread polka dots in varying sizes on the front along with panels of multicolored ribbon like detailing on the front, down the sleeves and around the collar.  The cuffs come to a point and have a 1” ribbon detail around them.  The blouse buttons up the back with 6 buttons and has a hook and eye closure on the collar.  The front overlay gives a blousy fit to the top.

Condition:  We are selling this piece as we found it, so it has not been washed-there is a repair on the left elbow on the underside, there is another spot at the back waistband that needs a repair, there is a spot on the front lower left that needs a repair, and the collar needs a repair.  This is a sturdy piece that is wearable as is or can be used for display.
