Vintage 1940’s Workwear Cap

Vintage 1940’s green workwear cap.  There are subtle colored stripes running through the fabric.  The front has a band with cloth covered buttons on either side right above the brim.  The inside has a leather band.  The hat was made by RBW Fine Headwear, Chicago & New York.  The hat is a size 6 7/8.

The hat measures 21 1/2” around on the inside band and the brim is 2” at widest point.

Condition:  Good, there are several wear spots and flaws, but the hat is still very wearable and these flaws add to the character and story of the hat
