Yellow & Black Print 40’s Dress

1940’s yellow and black novelty print dress.  The print features an island theme with someone holding a spear on a boat, coconuts, hula girls, a guitar, and palm trees.  The dress has a keyhole neckline, a fitted waist, and a full skirt.  The dress fastens on the side with a metal zipper.  There is no label and the fabric feels like a textured rayon blend.

Length:  37 1/2” in front and 40 1/2” in back

Condition:  This dress is in fair condition with several spots scattered throughout.  The largest is on the back left side of the skirt (see close up photo), there is also a bit of discoloration on the center of the neckline and a few faint spots scattered about the front.  They don’t detract from the wearability of this dress.  The dress has been cleaned and is ready to wear.
